Trader Joe’s Coffee & Garlic BBQ Rub and Seasoning is my new friend!
It seasons ribs, or a roast, beautifully! And, there are no additional sauces required in the process! My Dry Rub Coffee Ribs made with that seasoning are to die for!
What’s in it? Well, coffee (of course), also: brown sugar, sea salt, roasted garlic, onion flakes, smoked paprika flakes, red bell pepper flakes and paprika oil.
Having this seasoning made my life so much easier when my family wants ribs!
All I have to do is:
1/Boil the ribs for about 30 minutes in salty water with some allspice corns, peppercorns and bay leaves.
2/Take the cooked ribs out of water and season them with Trader Joe’s Coffee and Garlic BBQ Rub & Seasoning and some additional salt.
3/Cover the seasoned ribs with aluminum foil and bake them at 400ºF for 20 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for another 20 minutes.
And that is all! I swear!
I let the ribs rest for 10 minutes while gathering the rest of dinner. Although, there is very little gathering, since I always try to make the sides along side the ribs in the oven!
Roasted potatoes and vegetables make a nice way to serve these Dry Rub Coffee Ribs. Not only they are delicious, but also easy on the eye and semi – healthy.
Another idea – roasted green beans!
Just like the veggies above, I usually season the beans with olive oil, fresh garlic, salt and pepper before baking. Then, bake them for 40 minutes with the ribs. This way the entire dinner is done in the oven at he same time.
Sometimes, I throw some baked potatoes in the oven as well!
The seasoning is so good that on occasion I cut the ribs into singe portions and coat them individually for more of the seasoning flavor!
Dry Rub Coffee Ribs are always perfectly seasoned and fall-off-the-bone tender.
My kids can’t stop licking their fingers while eating my ribs and I’m glad that 1/they enjoy it, and 2/we are not out in public… 🙂
